Connection Pointe Christian Church

What We Do

We use a curriculum from the ReThink Group called Orange. Our strategy combines the two greatest influences in a child’s life: the love of the home (red) and the light of the church (yellow). These influences combined make orange (the color behind our strategy). We desire to incite wonder in the heart of your child about how great God is, while helping them to discover who God is, and what having a relationship with Him means.

We want to give you great resources to help - find them in Parent Connect.

Our goal is to help your child discover who God is and how much He loves them. Early childhood includes all children who are not yet in Kindergarten. We use a children’s curriculum by the ReThink Group called First Look for our Early Childhood program.

Infants & Toddlers (Birth - Age 2)

Children begin discovering who God is through developmentally appropriate activities such as singing songs, parallel play, sensory learning and prayer.

Preschool (Ages 2 - Pre K)

We believe that children learn best when they are able to create relationships with their small group leaders and their peers. We foster these relationships through a combination of small group activities that encourage your little one to play, discover, create and explore who God is. Before your child leaves our ministry we want them to know these three basic truths:

  1. God made me.
  2. God loves me.
  3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Kindergarten - Grade 5

During your child’s elementary years we want to provoke discovery in the heart of your child. We use a children’s curriculum by the ReThink Group called 252 Basics, which is built upon Luke 2:52 (NIV), “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Before your child graduates to the Student Ministry, we want them to know these three basic truths:

  1. I need to make the wise choice.
  2. I can trust God no matter what.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
