Thank you for covering your Connection Pointe family and friends in prayer during this special weekend!

  • Pray for those attending worship services for the first time that they may open their hearts to the message of Jesus’ love and salvation.
  • Pray for those leading and supporting services- that they may have the strength and focus in each service to bring their best self to glorify God.
  • Pray for those who are missing attending in-person worship services and Easter weekend celebrations with loved ones- due to location, Covid, loss and other reasons.
  • Pray for those who are getting ministered to on-line that they may hear the message of Easter and fully understand God’s love for us and be encouraged to take their next step of faith.
  • Pray for those who are far away from God- due to past hurts, addictions, broken relationships, etc.- that their hearts may soften and they may begin to understand the gift of Jesus’s death and sacrifice for them. Pray that someone in their life can step up to help guide them in their steps of healing.
  • Pray for those grieving in this season- the loss of loved ones, jobs, relationships, and dreams- may they find hope and comfort in the message of Easter.
  • Pray for the courage for each of us who knows Jesus to treat others (especially those we struggle with) with love, respect, and grace. As the death of Jesus allowed God to forgive our sins, may we grow in the forgiveness of others who have hurt us in the past.
  • Pray for those in need of healing- in both body, mind and spirit. For those struggling with the anxiety and depression amplified or created by the pandemic- may they find God’s peace amid uncertainty and chaos.
  • Pray and give thanks for the changing of the seasons- that God’s creation is evident to all in the rebirth of spring and that we may learn to be better stewards of the many gifts (including the natural world) that God has given us.
  • Pray for those in the world of education- students, parents, teachers, administrators and support staff of all ages. In this year of tremendous stress, may everyone find refreshment with upcoming breaks, may parents and teachers have continued patience and strength this school year, may students have perseverance and understanding and may we lift up those behind the scenes that help keep our students safe and learning.
  • Pray for healthcare workers and first-responders who have endured so much this past year.
