Staff Double Dog Dare-A-Thon


On Saturday, May 20 compete in eight super fun, totally crazy (and safe!) dares with your friends. Then take a picture of your completed dare(s) and submit them below. Come to Middle School Service on Sunday, May 21 at 9:15 am where the dare winners will be announced.

Event dates: May 20 - 21


1. Invite some friends over

Invite some friends over Saturday night, May 20 for a Double Dog Dare-A-Thon party at your home. 

2. Purchase supplies

Bubble Gum, Hot Dogs, Aluminum Foil, Pantyhose, Instant Mashed Potatoes

3. Register your team

Teams must have at least two people. We really encourage you to invite at least one person who is new to Connection Pointe. Register your team here

4. Complete a dare

Dares will be available Saturday night from 6 - 11:30 pm. Photos submitted after 11:30 pm will not be judged. 

5. Take a picture of completed dare 

Photos only, videos will not be judged.

6. Submit the picture below

7. Repeat 7 more times

8. Come to Middle School Service 

Bring your team to service Sunday, May 21 at 9:15 am to find out if you've won. We're going to have a giant Double Dog Dare-A-Thon party, celebrate the winners, jam with our incredible band, and hear a message about Jesus.

Q: Do I need to pre-register for the Double Dog Dare-A-Thon?

A: You can either pre-register or wait to register on the date of the event. Register your team here

Q: How many people can be on my team? 

A: You must have at least two people on a team but we really encourage at least one person who is new to Connection Pointe. (If you have a large group, consider splitting into two smaller groups.)

Q: Is this something I should do with my small group? 

A: Yes, however this event is truly designed for you to participate with friends, neighbors, or teammates who don’t attend Connection Pointe. Feel free to pair up with one member of your small group if that would be more comfortable for you!

Q: Can I have friends participate who aren’t in 6-8th grade? 

A: Unfortunately not—this event is only for middle school students!

Q: When will the dares be available? 

A: Dares will be released at 6 pm on Saturday, May 20 and will be available until 11:30 pm.

Q: How do I access/send the dares? 

A: The dares will be released on this webpage starting at 6 pm on Saturday, May 20.  All the members of your team need to be included in the registration for each dare you send in.

Q: What if I can’t get my photo to upload on a certain dare? 

A: Email the dare to 

Q: Do I have to be present to win on May 21? 

A: Yes. You and your team must be present at service on May 21 to win, otherwise an alternative group will be chosen.
