This Amazon opportunity is for our high school students with preference being given to juniors and seniors. The team will live on the Central Brazil Mission Amazonia medical boat for 9 days while traveling up/downriver from Manaus providing medical support to those living in villages along the river. One of our trip leaders will be a medical professional. Student team members will contribute in numerous ways, such as assisting the doctor, taking heights, weights or blood pressure, passing out hygiene kits, playing with children in the village, etc.
