Career Mentoring
Career Mentoring Program
We’re excited to offer a unique opportunity through Connection Pointe’s Career Mentoring Program. Whether you’re transitioning from high school to college, entering a trade, or starting a career, this season is a pivotal time to define who you want to be, what you want to pursue, and how your faith can shape your journey.
Imagine having a mentor who’s been where you’re headed—someone in your field who can guide you with school, career decisions, internships, and relationships, all while encouraging you to grow in your faith. That’s what our Career Mentoring Program is all about.
What Is the Career Mentoring Program?
Through this program, we connect each participant with an adult mentor in their chosen field. The mentor will check in with their student once a month, offering support, making connections, and helping navigate career decisions. This flexible program can be tailored to the student’s needs, whether they want consistent guidance or just someone to talk to as challenges arise. The mentor will stay with their student for as long as they need—through college, career, and beyond.
Having a mentor is like having a cheat code for life. A mentor gives you access to wisdom you didn’t pay for with your own experience or mistakes. If you're a graduating senior who would like to have a mentor, or an adult who would like to mentor someone, please fill out the appropriate form below.
We have two tracks available.
Track 1 - College Track
If a student is going to college after graduation, we will place them in a cohort with 4-6 other students and a shared mentor for two years. After this phase is complete, they will move into Track 2.
Track 2 - Career Track
If a student is going straight into the workforce or has completed Track 1 as a college student, we will pair them one-on-one with a mentor in the career they want to pursue for three years.
In both tracks, the mentor will check in monthly with their mentee to support them and help them connect with leaders, internships, and jobs in that field. We want to set them up for success in school, work, and faith.
