Pointe Women Bible Study
Do you have trouble thinking of words to say to God when you pray? Are you afraid some emotions are too intense to express to God? Do you reach the end of a day only to realize you haven’t prayed at all? You’re not alone. Prayer is the way we relate to God, but sometimes it’s a struggle. Throughout God’s Word, we encounter many voices who teach us how to pray.
In this 7-session study, join six beloved Bible teachers (Kelly Minter, Jackie Hill Perry, Jen Wilkin, Jennifer Rothschild, Jada Edwards, and Kristi McLelland) who will help us study prayers in the Bible that can inspire our own. We’ll learn that God welcomes our praise and lament, our thanksgiving and intercession. We’ll see examples of how to pray when we’re alone and when we’re gathered with others. Above all, we’ll notice there’s no one right way to pray. As we draw near to God through prayer, we’ll find our faith strengthened and our hearts united to Christ.
The study meets on Mondays August 14th - October 2nd. Choose from two sessions 9:30am-11:00am or 7:00pm-8:30pm. Cost of the study is $24 for the book and personal video access.
The study will not meet on Labor Day. We do not offer childcare for this study.
