Are you hoping to elevate your career while maintaining healthy life rhythms and cultivating a sense of purpose? Join us for lunch on January 30 to learn from three seasoned leaders and connect with likeminded young professionals. Erik Cooper, president of The Stone Table Group, will explore how to infuse your work with meaning and significance. Therapist Jean Crane will offer practical guidance on sustaining mental and emotional well-being in a fast-paced world. Senator John Crane will share how effective leadership can amplify your impact at work. Mark Caswell, a former technology CEO and current professor and nonprofit leader, will lead a discussion on pulling it all together. This event is designed specifically for young adults ages 18–35. Lunch is included in the registration cost.

 

Speaker Bios:

Senator John Crane

The Honorable John B. Crane is a leader and educator committed to helping others pursue values-driven, legacy-focused leadership. Elected to the Indiana Senate in 2016, he served two terms, holding roles including Ranking Member of the Senate Education Committee and Assistant Chairman of the Majority Caucus. He founded the Senate Leadership Summit and helped bring the Global Leadership Summit simulcast to the Indiana Statehouse.

John serves on the national Board of Directors for the Colson Center for Christian Worldview and completed apologetics training through the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is the Founder and Principal of JBC Leadership Strategies, working with political, corporate, and nonprofit leaders. John and his wife, Jean, have four children and live near Indianapolis.

Erik Cooper

Erik Cooper is President of a family of nonprofits that mobilize marketplace leaders for global missions. He leads The Stone Table, which equips believers to integrate faith and work, and Community Reinvestment Foundation, a real estate nonprofit funding global missions through its investments.

Erik writes and speaks on business as mission and is the author of Missional Marketplace. He also chairs the Business as Mission Board for Assemblies of God World Missions and serves on several national boards. Erik and his wife, Mandy, live in Indianapolis and have three adult children.

Jean Crane

Jean Crane is a licensed mental health therapist at Care to Change. She has 25 years of experience helping individuals integrate biblical truth with emotional well-being. She earned degrees from Wheaton College and Trinity International University and has worked in inpatient, university, and residential treatment settings.

Jean specializes in trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress, holding certifications in EMDR and trauma-focused CBT. She regularly supports missionaries, pastors, and their families and maintains ongoing training through the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Mark Caswell

Mark Caswell serves as Chief of Staff at Connection Pointe Christian Church, helping shape culture, strategy, and next-generation leadership. He is the former CEO of a private-equity-backed technology consultancy, where he led one of Indiana’s top tech exits and scaled the organization through significant growth and acquisition. Mark teaches at the Lacy School of Business at Butler University and guest-lectures at Marian University, Purdue University, and Rose-Hulman on business, innovation, and organizational strategy. He is also a board member, operating partner, and executive coach to several private-equity-backed companies and emerging leaders. Mark is passionate about helping people discover their calling, integrate faith with meaningful work, and lead with wisdom, character, and purpose.
