Students Baptism

Baptism is a milestone moment in a young believer’s life. It’s an outward expression of the incredible transformation that takes place in our hearts when we say yes to Jesus.

Student Ministry at Connection Pointe is growing—not just in numbers, but in spiritual depth. We are incredibly blessed to see more and more students choosing to follow Jesus and taking their first step of obedience through baptism, publicly sharing what God is doing in their hearts with our church family.

We’ve designed our student baptism pathway to be convenient for families while also serving as an intentional on-ramp into lifelong discipleship and community.

First Step Students Class

The First Step Students Class takes place on the day of a student’s baptism and is held prior to the baptism, led by a member of our Students Team. During this time, we walk through what baptism represents, why it matters, and how students can stay connected and supported as they grow in their faith. We call it First Step because baptism isn’t the finish line—it’s the beginning of a lifelong journey of following Jesus. Our Students Team and leaders are committed to walking hand-in-hand with your student on that journey, helping disciple them along the way. This class is the perfect starting point.

Meet One-on-One

Students also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a member of our Students Team prior to baptism. This conversation is designed for students who are considering baptism but may still have questions. We’ll talk through the meaning of baptism, discuss next steps in faith, and share ways students can stay connected in community as they continue to grow.
