Student Small Groups

God has given us a bold vision to Raise The Strongest Generation Spiritually.

At CP Students, we believe that small groups are one of the integral ways we will see this vision fulfilled. Groups allow students to discover God’s truth, find community and grow in their relationship with Jesus. That is why in addition to the Engagements Groups that are built into our regular Sunday student programming, we offer Small Groups that meet outside of our regular Sunday MS & HS programming.

6th Grade Guys | Leader: Brian Sparks

Study: Experiencing God

God is inviting you into an intimate love relationship through which He reveals to you His will, His ways, and His work. When you recognize where God is working, you can join Him in what He is doing. Carefully listening to His voice will anchor you in His plan and set you free to live it with boldness and freedom. Then you will experience God doing through you what only He can do.

8th Grade Guys | Leaders: Ben Wolfe & Frank Gibson

Study: The Gospel Made Clear

This study is designed to be a discipleship tool to impart wisdom about the work and person of Jesus Christ. It will teach students about the character of God and our need for Him, as well as Jesus's earthly ministry, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension.

Study: Proverbs

Develop a greater understanding of God’s Word and learn new automotive skills with hands-on-training by master gearhead Jim Barrett. This semester Jim’s group will be studying the book of Proverbs.

Join Jeff and Mike as they study the book of Ephesians. This book of the Bible shows us how to walk worthy of Christ as we live our life for God. It focuses on the beauty of the church and reminds us that through salvation we become a part of God's family: a place where we can experience true belonging.

We live in a broken, sad, scary place. But true peace comes when we learn to hold God’s Word up to what worries us. There, we learn we can’t fix ourselves; we can’t protect ourselves. Instead, the Bible tells us we can rest, knowing that Jesus walked into the broken, sad, scary places to rescue us and love us. He is the One who fixes. His is the only protection that matters.
In this 8-session study you will learn how to practically take hold of the perfect peace that is only available through God as we dive deeply into His Word, embrace the practice of prayer, and live authentically in the support of our communities of faith.

Study: The Book of Luke

Join Adrianna and Mel, as they study the Gospel of Luke which tells the story of Jesus from a perspective unlike any other. As a physician, Luke, highlights Jesus' parables, teachings, healings, and compassion to the outcasts in Israel. He follows Christ on His journey to the cross, recounts His last days that led to His crucifixion and burial, and documents Christ's victory over the grave.
