Student Small Groups

Student Small Groups

God has given us a bold vision to Raise The Strongest Generation Spiritually.

At CP Students, we believe that small groups are one of the integral ways we will see this vision fulfilled. Groups allow students to discover God’s truth, find community and grow in their relationship with Jesus. That is why in addition to the Engagements Groups that are built into our regular Sunday student programming, we offer Small Groups that meet outside of our regular Sunday MS & HS programming.

Any middle school students are invited to join my wife and I for dinner and conversations about life’s biggest questions. We will go through the NUA video study and discuss questions like: “How did we get here?” , “Did Jesus raise from the dead” , “Is God good?” , and “What’s the purpose of life?”. And we will do all of this over dinner with a few games thrown in there. If you are wanting to dive deeper into the most important questions in life and enjoy community, dinner, and games, then we would love if you could join us!

9-12th Grade Guys & Girls | Leaders: Zach Breitenbach, Eva Breitenbach, Amanda Kester

Meeting Day: Wednesday

Meeting Time: 7pm

Location: Breitenbach Apartment (Avon)

Study: Worldview

"What is God like, and why should I love Him?" The idea is to help students deepen their understanding of what God is like (His qualities, actions, and character) and explore what it means to have a relationship with God and love God. It will involve examining God's key attributes (all-powerful, all-knowing, perfectly holy, eternal, etc.). We will also talk about the concept of the Trinity and the Incarnation, since those are key aspects of who God is. Understanding what the Bible says about all of these aspects of what God is like will lead us toward loving God more and being more drawn to Him.

We will study several parallels between scuba diving and what God has to teach us. Students will need to be comfortable in the water. We will alternate between a pool location and a classroom. Students will be able to try scuba diving during the semester. All equipment will be provided. Do you have a pool? Are you interested in hosting us? Please let us know!
